Lumina is a bright, creative space in North Hobart designed for people who love to make, teach, learn, and connect. We host a rotating calendar of workshops—everything from flower arranging and dumpling making to ceramics, journaling, painting, and more.

If you’ve been dreaming about running your own workshop but feel overwhelmed by the logistics—we’ve got you. At Lumina, we offer a supportive, collaborative approach that lets you focus on what you do best: sharing your skills and passion.

Here’s what we offer:

Ticketing & Bookings – We list your workshop on our website and manage all the ticket sales through our booking platform.

Shared Promotion – We promote your workshop through our social media and email newsletters, and we’ll work with you to help build your own audience too. We’ll guide you with ideas, templates, and tips so you can confidently promote your workshop on your own channels. The best results happen when we work together!

A Beautiful, Ready-to-Go Space – You don’t have to worry about cleaning or setting up the space—we’ll have it ready for you. Just bring your materials and set up your pieces.

Styling Extras – Want to add some flair to your workshop setup? We have a gorgeous selection of props, plinths, glassware, vases and styling pieces you can use to elevate the look and feel of your event.

We’re here to support you, whether you’re brand new to running workshops or a seasoned pro looking for a fresh space.

Matters

Great for workshop hosts who want full control and already have their own audience.

Rates:
• 1 hour – $80
• 4 hours – $250
• 8 hours – $450

Includes:
✔ Use of Lumina space in North Hobart
✔ Tables, chairs, kitchenette, and styling props
✔ Cleaning before and after
✖ No booking or promotion support

You take care of ticketing, promotion, and attendee management.

Want to run a workshop but not ready to pay a hire fee upfront? Our collaborative hosting option is designed for creatives like you. Instead of a flat venue fee, you simply pay a percentage of your ticket sales—and we support you behind the scenes.

There are three levels of support, depending on what you need:

  • Just need the space? You can use Lumina for your workshop and take care of all the bookings and promo yourself. We only take *10% of your total ticket sales.

  • Need help with ticketing? We’ll set your event up on our booking platform and manage ticket sales, so you can focus on prepping your content. In this case, we take *15% of ticket sales.

  • Want full support? We’ll handle ticketing, promote your workshop on our socials and newsletters, and offer tips to help you spread the word too. For this full service option, we take *25% of your ticket sales.

It’s flexible, low-risk, and perfect if you’re just getting started or want a helping hand to run a sell-out event. You focus on what you do best—we’ll take care of the rest.

* Terms & Conditions:
Ticket prices and attendee numbers must be agreed upon in advance. Minimum sales thresholds apply to ensure Lumina receives a minimum of $250 per event. Final pricing, inclusions, and support level will be confirmed in your workshop agreement.
