Kids Studio — Morning Session (5–9 years)

Age is a guide only.

Kids Studio is a bright, playful hour of creativity designed for curious little makers.

Each session, we set the table with four different making prompts. They change every week and offer a starting point — not a set of instructions. The activities are there as a guide, but kids are free to take the materials in any direction they like.

There’s no “right” outcome and nothing to copy. Just space to explore, experiment, and see where an idea leads.

Expect a generous mix of supplies to play with — paints, air-dry clay, foraged natural pieces, pom poms, googly eyes, recycled materials, wool, fabric, and plenty more — all ready for mixing, matching, and inventing something entirely their own.

Some kids stick close to the prompts.
Some ignore them completely.
Both approaches are very welcome here.

Kids Studio is about imagination first, gentle encouragement when it’s needed, and that beautiful moment when confidence clicks and creativity takes over.

Kids can move between activities at their own pace — rush through all four, spend the whole hour perfecting one, or mix and match however inspiration strikes. There’s no structure, no pressure, just joyful making in a colourful, welcoming space.

All materials are provided, and grown-ups can craft alongside their child or simply soak up the happy energy from nearby with a cuppa in hand.
