It’s all the fun, love, and magic of getting married — on a smaller scale, without the big wedding chaos (or the big wedding price tag).
Boom Weddings are held four times a year — once for each seasonal styling theme.
Each Boom Wedding Day has four private ceremony times available, styled around the look and feel of the current theme.

Electric Sorbet is available for Boom Wedding Day on Saturday 19th July at Lumina in North Hobart.

Meet Ed from Edward Noel Photo—our Boom Wedding Day photographer and a master of capturing real, beautiful moments. Based in Hobart, Ed’s documentary style means no awkward posing, no forced smiles—just genuine connection, captured with quiet skill and a great eye for detail.
He has a way of making people feel instantly at ease, and his work reflects it—natural, emotive, and effortlessly cool. For your Boom ceremony, Ed’s there to document every little moment with calm confidence, so you can relax, be present, and walk away with images you’ll love forever!
Picture this: Gold sparkles catch the light, disco balls spin overhead, and the whole space feels like a love-soaked party dipped in colour. It’s bold. It’s bright. It’s unapologetically fun.
From May to August, Lumina will be styled in our Electric Sorbet theme. If you’re considering a Boom ceremony, you’re welcome to visit the space and see if the vibe fits you. This limited-time look sets the scene for a celebration that’s anything but ordinary.
Booking is simple:
Ceremony times are limited — when they’re gone, they’re gone.
Ready to say I do?
Each ceremony is around 15 minutes.
You are welcome to stay after your ceremony for drinks and photos.
The cash bar will be open for celebratory cocktails, bubbles, beer, and wine.
Can we bring guests?
Yes! You can bring up to 10 guests to celebrate with you.
What if we want more guests?
Boom Weddings are designed for small, intimate ceremonies. If you’d like a larger event, chat to us about hiring Lumina separately for a full wedding!
What if we want a different styling theme?
Our styling changes every few months — but Boom Weddings are fixed to the theme available on your wedding day.
Can we have music?
We’ll have a simple playlist playing in the space to create the perfect vibe. (No custom playlists or DJs for Boom days — it’s all ready for you.)
How do we get our photos?
You’ll receive a small set of beautifully edited images from Edward Noel Photo delivered digitally after the event.
